As a stippling ink artist and surrealist sculptor, my work delves into the intricate relationships between the natural world, the human body, and the realms of science fiction. I am fascinated by the delicate interplay of organic forms and the complex structures that compose our existence. Through my art, I seek to explore alternative parallel worlds, imagining how these shifts might manifest physically and impact our human experience.
In my stippling ink drawings, I employ meticulous dot work to create detailed, textured representations of nature and anatomy. This technique allows me to capture the subtleties and nuances of my subjects, drawing viewers into a meditative exploration of the intricate patterns and forms that make up our reality. Each piece is a journey into the microcosms within the macrocosm, revealing the hidden beauty and interconnectedness of all things.
My sculptural work takes these explorations further, blending surrealism with elements of science fiction to materialize visions of alternate realities. By merging organic forms with futuristic aesthetics, I create sculptures that challenge our perceptions of the human body and its place within the universe. These works serve as a commentary on the potential physical transformations we might undergo in different worlds and timelines, urging viewers to reflect on the ever-evolving nature of our existence.
Influenced by the vast possibilities of sci-fi, my art envisions how changes in environment, technology, and biology might reshape our physical selves. I aim to provoke thought about the ways in which our bodies adapt and evolve, prompting a deeper understanding of our connection to the world around us and the infinite potential for change.
Through my art, I invite viewers to step into these imagined worldsI have built and rationalised to contemplate the fluid boundaries between the familiar and the fantastical, and to ponder the profound implications of alternative realities on our physical and existential selves.
