Ice skating at Brewery Square in Dorchester itakes place every Christmas, and this was the special event with Santa and a singer. I wanted to capture the enthusiasm of the skaters and the onlookers. I tried to make an interesting composition and tried to get the indecisive skating abilities of everyday unskilled skaters! I tried to make the colours rich and dramatic.
