Claire Edge studied a BA in Fine Art at Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2005, specialising in printmaking. Since then, she has shown her works in numerous exhibitions across the UK, including the New English Art Club, Royal Society of British Artists and the Wales Contemporary.
Claire specialises in intaglio and relief printmaking, and her recent collection of reduction lino prints portray intimate interior scenes involving objects and flowers, nature and natural forms. These prints are often layered works which explore the harmony and contrast of carefully shaped areas of bold and muted colour, incorporating drawing from life and exploring harmonious colour combinations.
